your neighbor's lawn is covered in dandelions? Would you say anything to him/her about it?

I would care alright, becasue we always take them out. if you leave them they multiply by the thousands, so if the neighbour has them I tell them what job I have taking them out, but I wont expect the neighbour to do so.... It's just a fact of life: life is not fair and weeds you will always get from the neighbours :)

I don't care if they have dandelions or not, just as long as it's mowed. I probably wouldn't say anything to them if it bothered me because they live near me & I have to live near them. There's nothing worse than making enemies out of your neighbors over trivial stuff (especially since they may catch someone prowling around your stuff one day while you're away). I'm sure you could offer to pay for a lawn care service for them to come & spray & they'd be fine with it. But maybe they don't want to put chemicals on their lawn because of children or animals (which is our reasoning that we don't)

I can't stand an unmowed lawn but I don't say anything to the neighbor, I just call the city because there's an ordinance. I then laugh at all the lawnmowers they blow up because they were too lazy to mow their lawn :)

Well no not really, because it's their problem and not mine. They are responsible for the upkeep of their lawn. No one in my neighborhood has dandelions on their lawn, I live in a relatively nice neighborhood, plus the city has stupid rules about how we must keep are laws.

They say we have to have at least 4 trees planted in our lawn. It's pretty stupid....but oh well.

I'd drive by in my minivan and yell out the window, "NICE LAWN!", and then screech away laughing.

I also would put "Dandelion Man" on any neighborhood BBQ invitations I send them.

If you're real anal about it, start a neighborhood beautification group and ask them to join. Maybe your neighbors are tired of seeing their crummy lawn also. Usually homeowners groups like to give out tickets for stuff like that, but you don't seem to have one.

No, I wouldn't get upset. I'm the one with the worse lawn in my neighborhood and believe me I work on it all the time.

I have a neighbor like that, his grass grows higher than my knees. He mows once a year. I have never said anything. When I try to sell my house then I will say something.

Would not say anything but yes, if everyone elses lawn is nice and clean it would drive me nuts.

No reason to be upset.

The lawn belongs to your neighbors; they care for it.

It is not your place to say anything to them concerning how they care for their lawn.
