Never set your expectations too high. Not for yourself and especially not for others. In other words, don't get your hopes up for anything. You'll only wind up being disappointed somehow.
Came to that conclusion after a few failed relationships, one of which happened just recently. I had rushed into it thinking everything was gonna be sunshine and butterflies perfect. =/ Yea, no relationship is like that. And the guy I was dating turned out to be a real a**.

Never take any decisions on impulse even when you are forced to make one on the spot. Buy yourself some time even if it's a split second to One hour to think clearly short or long term.
Take your time in making any kind of decision at any circumstance.

I'm not perfect. I make mistakes and I refuse to let my soul suffer under the weight of regret. I learned that after a string of bad decisions.

I lost a very good paying job, it was life changing. I learned that there are more important things in life than money. Like spending time for the ones that you love and taking time to do trivial things that you enjoy... like yahoo answers. I also learned that time spent with no money, can be far more memorable than time where you are spending money...
