Yes, the CN Tower is in Toronto, Ontario Canada and it is the highest free standing structure for now. The first poster is correct in the hight information but I can add that it was finished and opened in 1976. The address is:

I live about a half hour drive and I have to admit I have only been inside the tower once in my life. It does have a nice revolving restaurant and a glass floor where you can stand and look down at the little people below. (quite pricey)
