Kilz is brand name of a primer.
It's available at just about anywhere that sells paint.
It is a primer that is designed to kill mildew and hide stains on walls.
You must paint over it after you done applying it.
there are other brands that do the same thing but Kilz is usually the cheapest.
If you are using this in anything but a very well ventilated area, I suggest the latex based Kilz.

Kilz is a brand name of a stain killing primer. It is best used for covering water based stains since it is an alkyd based product
(oil) and requires paint thinner to clean up. Made to be used mainly indoors. It is not the best quality in this type of product but the name is used generically such as Kleenex. Kilz 2 is a water based primer. Before I bought it I would look for something that is best for specifically what you need to do. Consider clean up and odor. The generic Kilz as well as others dry fairly fast through the quick evaporation of the solvents in the material.

KILZ is a sealer, primer, and stain blocker that you put on the walls before painting, this helps if you are changing from a dark color to a lighter color. It also helps prevent mold and mildew. You can find this at any home improvement store and it is found in the paint section. Hope this helps. The cost varies, but you can get it in quart or gallon sizes.

It is something that you can put on bare floors that have a bad smell, such as dog or cat pee that you don't want to come through the new flooring that you put down on top of it. It is really easy to put on, you can paint it on or roll it on. It doesn't take very long to dry so you can do it at any time. You can buy it at Menards or Home Depot, possibly even walmart. It also comes with other names, but if you go back by the flooring department at Menards and ask them if they have anything like KILZ, they will be able to direct you. As far as cost, it is very inexpensive, like $3 or less per paint can. Hope this was helpful for you!

Well, it is a primer that covers most anything up. Also, they have Kilz paint in colors now, too. You can get it at Walmart.

It is an encapsulating paint, doesn't just cover, it encapsulates the stain. There are different grades of Kilz. Go to the website www.kilz.com to determine what grade is used for what job.

It is a primer that doesnt work very well as it is cheap. I would use SF-1 from Sherwin Williams It will cover and conceal the stain and is only about $5 a can. It is a white pigmented oil based primer that we use in water damaged houses to conceal stains before we paint. As for your other issues If you cant sew I would try a staple gun and spray glue to re-upholster your furniture. As for the burns on the stove the have an appliance touch up paint that comes in a little bottle that looks similar to a wite-out container and it is at walmart for three dollars. Good luck:)
