What happened in the series finale of King of Queens? I missed it?

Doug finds out that Carrie has kept the apartment in the city. They are supposed to go to Arthur's wedding, but he decides to get drunk and wallow in self-pity that she lied to him instead. Deacon comes to pick him up and convinces him to go to the wedding, and they pick up the rabbi on the way.

Carrie talks to Arthur's fiancee as the banquet hall is filling up with family and friends. She confides to Carrie that after her first husband, she only marries men who are gay. Carrie has to tell her the truth about her father, and she leaves. Carrie then has to tell Arthur the truth about his fiancee, and there's a brief montage of Arthur as he wonders why she might have thought he was gay. In the montage, he's dancing and such.

At the wedding, Doug keeps drinking. Holly shows up, and she's very pregnant, and she keeps talking about a husband we never see (supposedly he's there but in the bathroom). Spence arrives with his mom, and he runs into Danny for the first time in a long time. Danny's there with a new girlfriend, but they quickly get to talking anyway.

Arthur runs into Spence's mom and brings her into the bathroom and basically asks her to replace his fiancee so they don't have to call off the wedding. She has been in love with him forever so she agrees.

Carrie and Doug get into it when he is supposed to give a toast but is nowhere to be found. She finds him outside, drunk and practically passed out, and they split up, but she says she's still going through with the adoption. He fights back that he wants the baby, too, so why doesn't he adopt as a single parent. They argue, and she rushes home to hide his passort so she can get on a flight to China but he can't.

We then see her on the plane, and Doug is sitting right behind her. They make up, and next thing we know they're in China and Doug is holding a little girl. Carrie comes out of the bathroom and says she's pregnant, and they have a small freak out moment where they don't know what to do with this baby now that they're going to have one of their own.

Time is sped up, and they're back in their house again, with two toddlers screaming and running around. Arthur walks in with a suitcase, declaring: "It didn't work out."

The last few moments of the episode were dedicated to a montage of past moments in the show set to a sappy song.

First of all, Arthur ended up marrying Spence's mom instead of Eva. In the begining of the episode Doug and Carrie decide to get a divorce in the middle of Arthur's wedding. Then they find out that there is a baby girl available in China, they are still fighting so Carrie hides Dougs passport so he can't go to China. As Carrie is getting settled in her seat on the plane you see Doug lean forward from the seat behind her and compliments her on her attempt to hide the passport. She asks how he could have possibly found it in the vegetable crisper when he didn't even know where the crisper was. He said he was making BLT's and thank God Deacon knew where the crisper was.

While on the plane, they started talking about the root of their problems and they clear everything up and get back together. They get their little girl, and while in the hotel room with their new daughter in China, Carries finds out she is pregnant. Then they cut to a scene about a year later. Doug is sitting on the floor of the living room playing with the older baby. Carrie is tending to the other, both babies start crying. Arthur walks in the front door, suitcase in hand. He bellows "It didn't work out!" and storms to the basement. Leaving Doug and Carrie staring wide eyed after him, holding 2 screaming babies. That was the final scene, Life goes on in the classic Heffernan/Spooner family style.

Then they did a montage of scenes of Doug and Carrie's highs and lows over the years, while playing a great song "Milk and Honey" by "A Million Billion" When the montage ends they show a black screen with the words written in white "Thanks for the ride!"

series final Doug and Carrie went to china to pick up baby. when the get the baby they found out they are going to have their own baby.

They adopted a baby from China because they couldnt get pregnant, then found out they were pregnant, and I guess lived happily ever after
