actually look at what is happening in our government? Its as if we are enemies from within. Are most people really that brainwashed, or do they keep reading to validate their beliefs?

I have long believed that registering for one party or another poses serious threats to people learning about ALL candidates. One party cannot possibly represent all its followers, but people seem to stop analyzing and expecting more from their candidates once they have registered for one side or the other. It is not necessary to register as a party member in order to vote in other countries, so it should be abolished in the US. Mind you, it is a wonderful tool for the pollsters...and really...thats more important than a well informed public...don't you think? How could we get 'good television' otherwise?

To most of the people in here, you're either red or blue.
Conservative or liberal.
Republican or Democrat.
There is NO middle ground whatsover.

What these people fail to realize is that somewhere in the middle, where MOST Americans live, is the answer. It's called basic common sense and doing what's best for majority without worrying about what the minority thinks. A good idea is a good idea no matter WHO it comes from.

Reminds me of this quote by Winston Churchill, "The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter."

It would be refreshing to think that the Enemy Within is reading this board, but it doesn't have enough pictures to maintain their interest long enough.

So true! How liberals can't see what this country is up against with these Islamic terrorists is beyond me. They are, indeed, "enemies from within." Bravo for pointing this out, not that they'll get it.

Not really a question.

But, yes. I wish more people had your grasp of the obvious.
