Saints, and I think you would agree with me...Ricky Williams. We gave up our entire draft for this pothead??? Nice move, Ditka!

Dallas Cowboys fan, and our worst draft pick would probably have to be Quincy Carter, although I could make a strong case for Herschel Walker too (must be something with former Georgia Bulldogs in Big D...lol).
Herschel was supposed to be the next great Cowboys running back, and he did have a few productive seasons. His most productive season would be the off-season which he was traded to Minnesota for the Vikings draft picks (which would turn out to become the components of the 3-time Super Bowl Champs of the 90's).
But all of that can't replace Quincy Carter's inconsistent play at the QB position. A mobile QB that was the Cowboy's next great QB (boy, were we way off on this one). He made a lot of really bad on and off-field decisions, never really got comfortable in the system(s) implemented by the coaching carousel, and probably completed more passes to the other team (and bleachers) than he did to his own recievers. Had 1 semi-productive season....the rest were spent in a QB rotation.

Patriots and the worst draft was Andy Katzenmoyer because Katzenmoyer was good but despite the fact that he really didn't get a great deal of time to develop on the NFL level. His massive college hype leads more people to call him a bust than anything else. He actually had a solid rookie season and could have turned into a good player had a neck injury not cut his career short at only two years.

My favorite team is the Philadelphia Eagles, and their worst draft pick has to be Jon Harris, DE out of Virginia. I believe that it was 1997, and he was their first round selection. When Ray Rhodes drafted him, every analyst on ESPN turned and looked at one another with a lost expression on their faces. Mel Kiper said "I didn't have him going till at least the 3rd round". Of course Philly fans booed.
Jon Harris had only one sack as a senior at Virginia, and only about 6 for his career. He ended up having one sack in his rookie year, but did not register another tackle for the Philadelphia Eagles. In fact, he did not even make the roster after the 1999 season, making 1998 his only as an Eagle.
To make matters worse, Jon Harris was selected as the 25th pick in the first round. Trevor Pryce was taken 3 picks later, and Tiki Barber was taken in the second round as was Jamie Sharper, Corey Dillon, and Sam Madison just to name a few.
I know that some people will say Mike Mamula, however, Mamula actually had a pretty decent career with the Birds registering 25.5 sacks in 5 years (one year he missed during injury).
They might even say Freddie Mitchell, but he was nicely rated, and contributed a bit during his tenure in Philly. Given the nickname "First Down Freddie" due to the fact that more than 3/4's of his catches went for first downs. His ego is what made him a bust in Philly.

Chiefs. I gotta say the worst pick they ever made was taking Todd Blackledge at QB when Marino was still available. Marino put up better numbers his 2nd year than Blackledge did in his entire 8 year career. 2nd place for worst pick goes to any number of DT drafted by the Chiefs the last 6 years. The front office obviously has no idea what they're doing when it comes to evaluating talent at the DT position because none of those guys (a lot of 1st & 2nd round picks) ever played better than the backups they signed as free agents.

Patriots and the worst draft substitute into Andy Katzenmoyer simply by fact Katzenmoyer substitute into solid yet in spite of the undeniable fact that he particularly did not get very a brilliant number of time to enhance on the NFL point. His huge college hype leads greater people to call him a bust than the rest. He genuinely had a sturdy rookie season and can have became right into a solid participant had a neck harm not cut back his profession short at basically 2 years.

Philadelphia Eagles - 2001 draft, WR Freddie Mitchell
The Eagles could have had Reggie Wayne, Chad Johnson, Chris Chambers, or Steve Smith, but instead they wasted their pick on this bust. Santana Moss was also in this draft but picked ahead of Mitchell. What a group of receivers this draft had!

New England Patriots, and I have a couple of them. All first round draft picks, and ALL BUSTS. First, LB outta THE ohio state university, (drum roll please) Andy "Big Kat" Katzenmoyer. Played half of one year, before quitting in training camp the next year. Secondly, Chris "Can't" Canty out of Kansas State. Never lived up to ANY expectations. Third, Tebucky "Coach Carroll can turn him into a CB" Jones out of Syracuse. Still playing, but nowhere near worth a first round pick. Finally, the hard luck case, out of the University of Georgia, RB Robert Edwards. He had a good rookie year then destroyed his knee playing flag football at the 1999 pro bowl. Never made it back to his form. As for the guy who said all five guys drafted before Brady in 2000, of Adrian Klemm, J.R. Redmond, Greg Robinson-Randall, Dave Stachelski, Jeff Marriott, and Antwan Harris, Randall and Klemm started for at least a couple of years, Redmond was a decent backup RB, and Harris was a good nickel back. Not great players, but not busts either. Remember who else was picked in the sixth round that year? How about Marc Bulger, Adalius Thomas, and Neil Rackers.

Worst Ever....Green Bay Packers 1989 #2 pick overall wasted on Tony Mandarich who was suppose to be the best offensive line prospoect ever, turned out to be one of the biggest flops ever and cut by the Packers after 3 years. The Pack passed up : Barry Sanders #3, Derrick Brooks #4, and Deion Sanders #5.......

Cleveland Browns. Tim Couch. We wasted so many years in rebuilding the franchise on trying to make him out to be our franchise QB when he couldn't stay healthy, throw a good pass or run out of the pocket to save his life. And we knew all this by the end of his first season, yet we wasted so many years of top 5 first round draft picks on everything but a better QB, all because he was supposed to be something great.

Da Bears! The worst pick I think most Bears fans would say there is a tie. Rashan Salaam and Cade McNown.
Salaam for the fact he held out from signing because his agent said he was better than what the Bears offer. (Bye the way his mama was his agent)
McNown was a pampered brat that threw a tantrum better than a football.
Both made millions and were out of the league in a couple years.
