Yes, no question! Both of my parents are in their mid 80's and they are always in constant pain. (they live in their own home still and I look after them when they need me to) Yes! If my mother or father asked me if they could die with dignity, I would approve of it, no problem. I believe everyone has a choice of how they leave this world. ( if they're very ill) I think people who are against this are cruel. There is no reason to keep someone alive (even if it's your parents) if they no longer wish to live because of the pain.

Defiantly......we all know when out time has come. Why not let it be the way we choose. It beats some of the other options. I too would like to die with dignity.

Yes, I've already been through this ordeal with my grandmother. She wanted to die so much. It was so depressing. She just decided to stop eating and kill herself that way. They put her on an IV for nutrition but she would just pull it out. Finally the nursing home just let her go. They are going to find a way to die whether you like it or not. It's better than the emotional rollercoaster that you are on when they want to die but no one will listen.

That is definitely a reasonable mentality. To die with dignity is to live forever.

Very hard question,but yes I would support my parents in any
situation, cos they mean the world to me.

If that's what they really want, you have to respect their wishes.
If you really love someone, you will do as they say, won't you?
Then again, I have never been in that situation so I don't really know what I would do if or when the time came.

Yes I would. My Dad wanted it that way right up to the end before he got too scared and changed his mind. But if he wanted it that way I can respect his wish.
