Additional Info:

The maintenance guy isn't very helpful.
It's the only workspace available.
It blows on my ears and head.
I cannot adjust it because there is a metal grid-plate prevnting any configuration of the A/C shafts (which directs the flow of the cold air).
Any and all suggestions are highly appreciated!

Wear earmuffs and a ski hat. Or tell your manager that you cannot work in these conditions. The company is obligated to provide a safe work environment that breeds productivity. If you are not able to accomplish any work, then you and your manager has a problem.

Be firm when you ask to be moved to a different work space. If he is unwilling to accomodate you, then I suggest you find another manager to work under.

Hey! If you can reach the vent... tack on a piece of foil paper loosely over it...That's what I did to the vent in my room. Air still comes out, but not as strong.

Sounds like you are going to have to get creative.
Try deflecting it with paper, tape, push pins, cardboard etc.

Wear one of those umbrella hats, your boss will ask you about it which will open up a dialogue about your situation.

Can you get one of those furnace vent directors, to redirect the airflow elsewhere?
If you can find one, you should talk to HR, and they can make the Maint. man install it.

Otherwise, start a new fad of crazy hats at work.
