This is a tricky question. Keeping the battery on charge all the time is not good for long life as the battery is effectively being cooked. Running without the battery does remove a possible surge absorber. Assuming it's a Lithium Ion battery the best long term for this is 25% charge, and kept cool. In the laptop it will be 100% and hot. This is made worse by the need to maximise battery duration and hence the design will stuff the max possible charge into the battery. As to battery or no battery when on the mains I think you should ask the lap-top manufacturer.

I would recommend to do so.
By charging the battery all the time, the wear level of the battery increases (not as much as older batteries, but still enough). Even though you cant overcharge the battery, you will loose capacity by constantly charging the battery.
To keep the battery as "juicy" as possible, always fully charge the battery and always drain the battery fully. Prevent leaving the battery in the laptop charging if it's already charged.
Here you will find some basic tips about the topic.

sure, that is going to artwork. Your computing device demands 19v and any charger that would furnish 3.9A or extra will artwork. The charger rankings are its optimal potential, no longer what that is going to stress by using your computing device. In different words, your charger can furnish 19v at no extra advantageous than 4.seventy 4 amps. So, any load you set on it can't draw extra advantageous than 4.seventy 4 amp. the only difficulty is the actual connection. make particular the polarity is right.

You should never plug the charger in without the battery. Without it there is nothing to absorb power fluctuations and you may damage the laptop.
