I am just curious, because many people say that pharmacists make a lot of money but they never say exactly how much. Also, how difficult was it for you to get into pharmacy school?

An article in our local paper said recently that the average starting salary for last year's graduates was $90,000.
It also said that there were over 1000 applicants for 90 seats in the first year class of the College of Pharmacy. The pharm school kids had the highest GPAs of any kids in the university - even better than the premeds.

The rewards are good, but the competition is very tough.

In my area, average for retail is 100k, and for hospital about 90k.
Pharmacy is difficult to get into. You'll need a mid 3 GPA and a PCAT of at least 75 to be competitive.
My school accepts 1 in 9 applicants.
