I wanted to know when a African American caramel or light skinned women have babies by a white man tan or pale. Will the baby come out white or would it just look mixed since it has a resonalbly percentage of black blood?

I am black (mulit-racial) and I am about Halle Berry's skin color. My husband is white. One child is a little darker than me, one has a peachy skin tone, and the other is a very light tan (looks Latin) . When children are mixed, they can take after any parent's blood line and this means siblings may not resemble. None of my brothers and sisters are the same color, but we all have my dad's facial features.

First and foremost: The problem isn't what the offspring will look like...the problem is when certain people give that poor child a hard time early on in life by asking questions like: "Are you white or black?"...or try to similarly establish it's origins based on it's 'looks'. In this day and age where so many people come from a mixed lineage - they can deny and protest all they want - who can tell???
And secondly, the offspring can turn out in a variety of ways, darker, lighter, who cares, so long as it's healthy and loved and nurtured.

It will look mixed, whether its skin is very light or not. You will have to take into account how the baby's hair and facial features will look. They usually end up looking like a cross between black and white features. And no, Africans don't have dominant genes or anything, people just have this whole "one drop" theory that if you're even a quarter black, you're black.

Depends on whose gene's are more dominate. I have a friend whose father is very dark skinned black man her mother was 100% Korean. She married a white man they had a baby (named him Erick) and he was very white light blonde hair and light blue eyes. But I also know a girl whose mother is white father is black married a black man had a caramel skinned baby..all goes back to dominate genes

LA Law and Texas gave you a couple of really good answers, so I won't bother trying to explain any further.

I will just say that I hope your question was sincerely asked out of curiosity. Keep an open mind and educate yourself. And I am not saying that in a negative manner. Learning should never end.

The truth of the matter is, you never know. I met biracial people who look entirely black, and as for me, most people mistake me for a complete white person.
Other times, a biracial person just looks mixed.
In these situations, it's just the role of the dice.

Most mix babies come out looking more black then they do white. The black gene is more dominate than the white gene.

Either you're truly interested or that's just a dopey question. People of color are just that, of color. There's no way to know with what complexion a child will have. The only thing that counts is does the child have the features of both mom & dad.
