personality, chemical natue, etc. plays such a huge part in their answers. For example, for me, it would be a nightmare to work at a perfume counter in a spiffy department store-I would pass out from the fumes and environment, but someone else might love it. So, what would be a job you absolutely would have to say "NO to, no matter how much money came with it and what would your LOVE to do job be, that would bliss you out? And give the reasons why.

I would absolutely love to be a successful freelance photographer who travels all around the world to study and photograph different people, cultures and societies.

What I wouldn't like...I don't even think about that one! :)

No matter HOW much money? That doesn't include a lot of things. After all, there is a LOT of money in the world.

I mean, if I offered you a billion dollars a day, wouldn't you work at a perfume counter (even for just a day or two)? I'm VERY hard-pressed to think of anything that NO amount of money could possibly compensate me for.

Even a professional organ-donor can probably get artifical organs. Someone forced to work in a remote location might buy transport back. And some of the most atrocious physical or emotional conditions might not be so bad if you had enough people to sooth your pains. There are really not many things in my life that are mine to give away that could not be replaced with an appropriate amount of money.

The only exceptions I can think of would be my life itself, and perhaps my identity (if you found some science-fiction way to suck it out of me). I have a price (maybe not a GOOD price, but a price) for just about anything else.

As for the best... it would be nice if someone would pay me to do all the things I do anyway. Or they could just hand me the money for doing nothing at all. I believe that's called 'heir to a fortune'. I wonder where one applies for such a position?

Heh.

The best job I can imagine having is being the person that stands backstage and towels down the sweaty body of my favourite rock star and hands him bottles of water between songs. And when I'm not doing that, being a professional front-row sitter and all fan-like at every show. The worst job would be to work in a slaughter house or meat packing plant. There's not enough money in the entire universe for me to do that.

I would have to thumbs down any job that would compromise
my ethics. For example, defending a person I knew to be
guilty. Or euthanising animals. Or hunting animals. Or
trying to sell an expensive car to someone I knew couldn't
really afford it. The best job is one that is endlessly
entertaining, never repetitive, puts me in contact with
intellegent and fun people, allows me to travel the world
whenever I want, pays well and suits my personality
to a tee....the one I have now.

None.

I could vomit with the smell of most colognes. However, I can also tolerate some displeasure in life in the short term to work towards a more satisfying position in life.

We spend far too much time indulging our emotions rather than making choices that are consistent with our short and long term goals.

I would absolutely HATE to be a waste management worker. I hate getting near trash (I make my brother take out the trash).
However I would LOVE to be an interior decorator. I have absolutely no experience in this field, and probably won't end up in this field, but I love looking at interior design magazines and i rearrange rooms in my head all the time.
God Bless!!

Best Job:

Rollerblading instructor --- OMG I could live on those things ... and it's fun ... laughing at fall's ... relaxed atmosphere ... fresh air ... ahhhh. Too bad it doesn't pay enough to make a living off of.

-------- ------- --------
Worst Job:

I think "Medical Bill Collector" would be the WORST job. Imagine have to talk to a person who's lost their wife because of a bad operation of your organization and ask them for $50,000.00 ... how heartless can a person be ... I even think many of them get death threats ... my heart could never do that to a widower.

The worst?

Wellll....

personally, artist

it's just the easy way out.

but..

working in a chicken factory,
on a crab boat would be cool, but I'd go overboard...

roadkill collector
plumber
bait store owner
figure skater
cleaning out the peguin cage...

you get the picture.
