Like I joked about earlier, it said, "Hey you, can I have my bottle back?"
I did that many yrs ago. But I didn't actually throw it out to sea. I tossed it into the river because it was the only body of water I had close access to when I was a child. Don't know if anyone ever retrieved that one. I hope people can someday forgive me for having to be so strong yet relentlessly cheeky at the same time.
If you're referring to the only note I ever bottled and threw out to sea, it was a heartfelt message intended for a special soul with the initials A.Z. I hoped it would magically reach her across the vast and peculiar gulf btw us. I tossed that message off the Florida Coast a few yrs ago after I buried my toes in the ocean sand for the very first time while contemplating my sadness.
I don't know if the note would have any special significance to you. But thanks for asking.

Also I am actually Timmy the midget penguin accountant who used to work for Arthur Andersen until they outsourced my job to the White House.

"I am stuck on an island in the South Atlantic, send help!"
sometime in the early 70s. I was about 10 at the time. Kind of a pre-telephonic phone prank.
Peace

"July 19, 1966
May the finder of this note know peace.
Perth, Australia"
( I actually wrote it last summer [2006] and threw it in the sea at Gloucester, Massachusetts, USA )

Cool. Did you find it? I bet it was unreadable by now but it told you where I was when I wrote the note. X marked the spot.
