When I was a child homosexuality was looked at as evil, now young people are opening up to it more and more ..Why? I understand if someone geniunly feel that life style is truly made for them, but what about the trisexual those who will try anything once. I think the homosexual community should be mad as hell for people making a mockery out of their life style. I just don't want my children to fall into confusing trap.

Dutchess, unfortunately the homosexual lifestyle has become the "in" thing in many circles. All of a sudden everyone was gay at 5 or 6 years old and claims to have known they were gay. I have been alive for many years, and have seen many things. I have NEVER seen a gay baby. But just hang on, there might be one on the next Oprah!

Your question is so confusing. Sexuality is determined by a combination of factors. Some would say it's completely genetic (yet to be proven in an unbiased study), but others would say it is determined by environment.

I guess I don't see why you are talking about when it says kids are being recruited. I've never seen anyone on the street with a booth set up - "Be a homosexual today"

I've never seen a commercial - "be all that you can be, in San Francisco"

Naa, I'm not quite understanding your statement. There's no recruitment. It's just finally becoming safe to be gay. Back when you were a kid it was a more hostile environment for gays, now the world is a more accepting place, in some aspects.

I think your kids won't fall into a trap. But don't try and shelter them, educate your children on whats going on out there. Don't make anyone out to be evil because not all gays are evil, terrorists and criminals are evil.

Good Luck!

How do people end up being rapist , murderers , or any moral crimes?
The same answer , good VS. evil.
So you can be recruited. It's all about how influencing spreads faster than a virus bug.
Influencing is the most hazardous and contagious thing ever.
Those Gay people even want to force a traditional priest how to think and do his job. How would you like it if I came into your house and tried to tell you how to do your laundry , or walk into your work place and tell you how to do your job?
Besides those gay guys know that they don't have the right to try and rewrite the bible and eliminate the rule about stealing.
So since they cannot change the Catholic religion , why don't they either talk to the next priest one black over , or just forget the whole church part of it and go to City Hall and get married on paper. After all there is no law in the Government that says they can't. My exact point is that people are lacking respect for human culture and are turning into animals of their selfish needs by trying to change human culture all together. Because they don't believe we have to put up with ourselves as decent , respectful , proper , human-beings. Instead they want to live the culture of zoo animals by blocking off half their brain and pretending not to understand the sensible part of the message. If you want to be gay , be gay in your own private space you disrespectful little punk , because you know your doing and influencing something reasonably unacceptable to real human standards in-front of that poor poor child or young youth.
By the way having common sense is not to be considered judgmental because they both don't work together in this matter.
And we all know which one it really is. Open your eyes to the truth all the way from the top to the bottom of this message and think about it. In reality not one word I said can be disproved as incorrect when it come to an exceptional level of pure honesty.
This means the certain many gay people trying to occupy humanity with all their force , are %100 percent wrong from the start of their sick little plot. It's no different then showing a young person how to do drugs and we all know it ! The only reason why I say go hide your narc is because unfortunately this is one of those legal narcs.
Ya , your right this is Canada , let's just market cocaine too!
That way we can truly be a FREE COUNTRY.

Sweetie, A Homosexual is NOT recruited. They are BORN that way. It's the way the chemical action of their brain works.

Because the world is more tolerant and more educated about the true nature of homosexuality, More young people fell they can be more open about their true sexuality.

For instance. I have a friend who knew he was a homosexual from the time he was a child. But he lived the "normal" life all through school. He married he had children and he was miserable. He finally accepted he could no longer live a lie. Divorced his wife, who is now a very good friend. Has a terrific relationship with his children and a committed relationship with his partner. But think of all the years he tried to be "normal".

He was never recruited as a child or as an adult.... it was just the way he was Born.

There was just as much homosexuality when you were a child as there is now - people were just more secretive about it. They were the two "spinster" ladies who lived together in the house on the corner or the two bachelor cousins who "never did marry". People cannot be "recruited" into homosexuality anymore than homosexuals can be made to be straight. It is not a choice - but rather the way some people are oriented. Surely you cannot believe that anyone would choose a lifestyle that they know will subject them to ridicule and discrimination by large numbers of people just for the excitement or fun of it. I am a straight person with gay friends and I can tell you their lives are not always easy.

The last time I checked the only people doing recruiting are the military . You are gay , straight , bi or celibate there is no one on the streets looking at kids going "come to the gay side " . The only people that lure kids are the freaks that think a 6 yr old girl is hot and wants what he has . They are the ones who give gays a bad name . It is a shame that when you hear of a some perv raping a little girl people think he is one of those gay twisted people . It is not true Many of my friends are gay and they would be the first one in line to strip a man of his "boys" .
A friend I have did not know he was gay till his mid 20's . He never really dated a woman or had sex with one . He was out of the Air force when he met another friend of mine they talked and hit it off been 16 yrs and still together.
You can't blame the gay community because kids see sex everywhere they look today . 30 yrs ago you never saw a tampon on TV or a woman wearing nothing but panties bra and high heals . Don't blame everything on just one culture we did this when we did not say "hey that don't need to be seen on my TV show" . But i could be wrong because Janet Jackson was never arrested for popping that tit out during the super bowl .

It's not the fact of "why the kids are being recruited", it's the fact of how. Curiosity is a feeling that everyone has had as a teenager in all age groups. Back then (and I know when), being a homosexual was almost unheard of, or thought of evil because it was not as open and free as it is today. In most high schools today, all over the world homosexuality is present -not because the teens have been "recruited", because it has become more acceptable and more of a fad/trend or should we say "something to try". This does not necessarily mean that he or she will be like that for the rest of their lives, but they can say that they tried and either liked it or not. When it comes to teenagers, one must think of puberty and raging hormones.

When America was young, it was concidered horrible. As people get older, so does the age people start things. So we are aging, and they activities in the world and the world are changing to. A little while ago, nobody had cell phones, now little 1st graders have cell phones, get it??? By the time we are old, it'll be a law you have to have a cell phone. Younger people are getting old, slow and fast. Our bodies are getting old fast, our activities take a little moe time. Youngsters see that, so they think an adult is just the same as a 10 year old.

hope this helped.

Exploration is not wrong. Sometimes, a person needs to experiment to see what suits them. I do not think anyone is being "recruited into homosexuality" as you put it. There is nothing wrong with experimenting, as long as all partners agree and no one gets hurt.

If you don't want your children to become "homosexuals", I am afraid you can't really do anything. Can't stop nature. Can't stop emotion. Let them live their lives. They are their own persons after all, and I am sure you would love them even if they were gay.

I think you're asking the wrong question entirely. The real issue is: why are parents not paying more attention to what their kids are doing?

I mean, if we're having commercials on tv to promote "more than meals at the family table" and talking to your kids about smoking, drugs etc, then really the problem is that people aren't paying attention to what their kids are up to, who their friends are, what movies they watch & music they listen to etc. i mean, when you have 16 year olds soliciting for sex on MySpace and bragging about their drinking and smoking, I think that their sexual orientation because pretty much a secondary consideration.
