I think that what we need is a real Conservative in the White House. Lord knows if a Dem gets in then the whole world is going to hell in a hand basket... Thompson or Newt would work for me.

Just to break the Ice a bit here... there is a new bumpersticker coming out that is both Rebublican friendly and Democrat Friendly. On the Bumpersticker it says"Run Hillery Run" The Democrats can put it on their back bumper while the Republicans can put it on The Front.

Thompson is doing what he continuously did as a senator.... wait and wait and wait till its too late to do something. If he's going to be the subsequent president then he extra suitable initiate campaigning and debating... whilst he waits the GOP donors are sending their money to genuinely stable applicants. those donors should not be spending so lots extra on yet another candidate. you are able to desire to compete along with your standard fighters with money... then in case you win the standard you extra suitable nonetheless have money to conflict the different celebration's candidate. The longer you wait the donations get smaller and smaller. This has been a situation with Thompson... he's very sluggish. he's clever yet sluggish and it is not a time to be sluggish.

How would that change the direction of the country and out of the problems that GWB has gotten us into? He's more conservative than GWB and he's all for this war which 70% of the American people are against. I certainly hope he isn't the next president, for the sake of this country and the world.

I just want to hear what he stands for and why everyone thinks he's our savior. He may be great, but if you don't watch a lot of tv, you're not that familiar with him.

Mr. Thomson is not running as yet but if he did I think the fact that he was a very poor senator would quickly come to light and keep him from doing an even worse job in the white house!

I doubt it.

The cuban cigars will probably do him in.

Makes him look too much like a hypocrite, especially after he took Moore to task for visiting Cuba.
