If you asked 10 people on the street who Jerry Falwell was, you'd maybe get 1-2 correct answers. If you asked those same people who Jerry Springer is, I'd bet you wouldn't get a single wrong answer.

Well the only sadness I see from the right for Falwell is not that he's passed on but that they couldn't keep up with blaming Democrats for NOT CARING enough about his passing.(as if we should)
So - Jerry Springer it will be for the longer impact...

Springer, video tapes of his show will live on for quite a
a while in shows like "Remember the 80's or 90's" -
Falwell - no one really wants to see old video of his ranting.
Actually, alot of people prefer to forget his bigotry.

Both will have completely negative effects on America. But I think Falwell did, and will continue through his followers, cause more damage.

positive would be falwell, he had a hand in getting reagan elected, which ended the cold war, without firing a shot.
springer is just a disgraced former mayor who puts trash on the TV. Great lasting contribution there.
