GOSH!!!
PLUTO BLEW UP???

Where did you get that idea? Pluto is still out there and doing just fine. Here on Earth there was this big debate as to the correct classification of Pluto as a "Planet" or maybe as an "Asteroid" or something similar. If you do some research, you will find that a lot of things about Pluto are different from the rest of the planets orbiting the Sun. Pluto's orbit, for one thing is totally different from that of all the other planets. It is more like the orbits of some of the various large asteroids way out there in space.

In short, you can go back to sleep now. Pluto is not in any serious danger.

That would be so sad!

To find out more about Pluto and its current debated status visit the Pluto Debate on :

Also, the New Horizons team would be so sad to find out their spacecraft was going to a place that didn't exist anymore.

It didn't. In fact there is a NASA space craft on the way there now to take pictures. It passed Jupiter this year but even at 47,000 MPH it will take until 2015 to reach Pluto.

Pluto was just reclassified as a dwarf planet because of its small size.

cause he got mad at goofy fer stealing his bone? idk...

pluto the planet hasn't blown up, it just got downgraded so they're trying to not call it a planet anymore... pluto is one of the biggest parts of a belt of orbiting rocks, so either pluto is discarded as a planet, or two or three more planets just like pluto have to be added on... better remove one rather than add more on i guess... easier for the elementary kids to learn...
