Simply put--- THE BLAME GAME!
-------------------------------------------------------------------
"The moment you were thinking about asking this question you were comparing yourself vs others."
----HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS?
"Then, you concluded the others were bad because they were racist, and you were not."
----HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS?
"Therefore, that makes you superior to the others according to your judgment."
----HOW DO YOU KNOW THIS?
"That is human nature, and the reason why we can't get along."
----This is NOT human nature and NOT the reason why we can't get along. How well do YOU get along with others? I'm just asking since you enjoy telling others that you're a mind reader.

Your third sentence just answered your question.
And truly, NO ONE is superior-- because we are ALL UNIQUE.
I think EVERY kid needs to spend some time doing community service and getting to know people in all walks of life.
And since the kids doing Community Service WOULD be from all walks of life, it would make the experience so much richer for ALL involved. It is a SOBERING Down-To-Earth experience not only to see how others try to live, and how they suffer -- but to see what WE can do about it and how EASILY we can become friends with one another and lift each others' spirits and ENRICH OUR COMMUNITY by our actions.
Every parent needs to get involved -- every teacher needs to get involved.
History teachers in all schools need to stress certain aspects of 20th century history that are sadly being lost and forgotten.
I was born shortly after WWII and the Holocaust. I lived thru the era of Segregation and the MLK March on Washington. I lived thru the Women's Liberation, ERA, Stonewall Uprising and the Gay Liberation era.
But SO many people who were born after this time-frame of history are not even TAUGHT about it, and some of them don't even believe it happened!!
Well.. yes, it all DID happen and there was alot of suffering, hatred, blood, death, injury directed towards people who were looked upon as being "different" by people who thought they were "superior".
None of this needs to happen again -- it would be heartbreaking to have to start all over again .
When I hear someone make a prejudicial statement I ask them - "Do you know that because you know it's TRUE? Or do you say that because someone TOLD you that it was true????"
Please keep asking your question -- Not only that -- but please keep finding solutions.

I just asked a question about this. I don't have an answer. I know it's human nature to try to be superior against someone else, but why does it always boil down to race? Why can't it be for strength, or intelligence? Why does it always have to be pointless "superiority"?

Human nature... many people are prone to stereotyping and thinking they were superior makes them feel great. Actually I think supremacists are often people who in reality have a low self-esteem and are unsuccessful and need to make themselves feel better by telling themselves they were superior because of their "race", because there is nothing in their own personality or in their own life that they could be proud on.

because some people are just to close minded to think or accept the fact that they are wrong and the world has evolved from where it used to be and peoples mind sets as well.
My advice, dont listen to others..let them continue living in the backwoods of Tennessee in there shack with there 10 kids who cant read and the whole family is missing teeth and they think everyone should be dead because they arent white...we dont see them anyway because we all have lives

The moment you were thinking about asking this question you were comparing yourself vs others.
Then, you concluded the others were bad because they were racist, and you were not.
Therefore, that makes you superior to the others according to your judgment.
That is human nature, and the reason why we can't get along.
PS
I am not a mind reader don't be concerned about that.
My window to the world as a clear glass, it is very easy to see through.

Because people are immature, naive, and ignore or stupid. When you have all that the same organs and emotions and things that make you human. Besides black people are at a lesser risk for skin cancer than white people. and there are other pros and cons to being of a different races when it comes to many diseases... but that doesn't change the fact that we all can get them. We can all the die the same way.. black, white, latino, asia, doesn't matter.

I use to feel sorry for people like that but not anymore. I'm tired of making excuses for racist and bigots. I plan on enjoying my life while it's mine to enjoy! ( ^ _ ^ )
