I think miscarriage is much more common than most people realise.
I'm so sorry about your loss. There is nothing wrong with not feeling hugely upset about it. Your feelings might change, of course, but don't worry about how you should or shouldn't feel.
I don't think there is any greatly increased risk of miscarriage after you have had one and it doesn't mean you did something to cause it to happen. Sometimes the foetus just doesn't develop right and it can't survive.
Good luck

Your not to blame Early miscarriage is common and there are many causes and you shouldn't take any blame for this. My mother had 1 before I was born and 1 before my younger brother was born, and I am in my 50's. It just happens and if you wait awhile you will understand that it's natures way and you can try again. Miscarriage didn't stop my mother from having two healthy boys, and that was long ago.

i know how you feel hun i had a late mc in 2004 i was 22 weeks and when i got pregnant again i was forever on the phone to my midwife because i was convinced my baby would die again. i had a healthy little boy on the 17th april 2005 by emergancy c section. i then got pregnant again this year got to 13+5 weeks went for my dating scan and was told baby had died. i decided to let nature take its course and had my mc on the 11th april i am now undecided whether to try again and go through all the worry again or be happy with what i have got. good luck to you whatever you decide x

If this is your first miscarriage, the chances of you having another one is the same as if you never had a miscariage before. So, don't worry about it. Take it easy and let you body rest, and also heal emotionally.
There's nothing you did that make you lost that baby. It's just bad luck!

i am not a medical proffesional but I have been where you are now. I am sorry for your loss. often a miscarraige occurs if there is something wrong with the baby.
there is no reason why you should'nt be able to have a full term pregnancy. I now have four great kids.
if it happens more than once then the doctor will be willing to carry out tests to see if there is a medical reason.
don't lose heart..good luck

I don't think it is anything you did, but it would be wise to wait at least another 9 months to let your body heal and give yourself a better chance of carrying the baby to term. Best of luck.
