i dont think its the size. i think its the amount of its legs... yea i know that sounds wierd but if it was like an elephant and a dog, id feel the same amount of sadness. but if it was like a spider or a insect i would be like "whatever"
i havent yet figured out how fishes work into this "leg" theory....

I think the larger the animal, but also the more rare the animal. Like, there are more ants in this world than elephants, but I'd feel worse about killing an endangered species of sea turtle than an elephant, even though it's smaller.

I hate to kill anything. But that would all depend on the person, the remorse that would be felt by killing anything. There are thousands of people who hunt all the time and they wouldn't mind killing anything. Some won't even kill a fly. So that depends on the person.

I would have to agree with you. I have no problems killing bugs, but I would have serious problems killing an elephant.

yeh i think it is true...unless its a cute small animal.... but for baby animals you wouldnt want to kill that...you would rather kill the adult...who might not even live long because the baby still has its whole life ahead of it right....so im undecided :)

Nah. I feel awful about killing the ants that sneak into the house! I stopped killing them and now try to bring them outside or ignore them.

mainly because we can clearly see or hear the big animal's response compaired to a bug. and so if we see how awefull the animal looked when being killed,we feel guilty of it.
