I need to know if any computer companies ever made a Serial Port for a laptop to use internet on; a serial to ISP-preferably, a LAN or any high speed connections; Dial up would also be ok. If anyone knows a brand or a reference for searching to buy one.
Thank you for your time!

Say what now?

Really, the only thing that you can use to get on the internet from a serial port is the old external dial up modems.

Serial is not capable of the data transfer rates required for broadband.

Here is a link to one on ebay:

Serial ports are slow. you will not get a high speed connection through them.

Almost every laptop has a phone jack - that is for dial-up. But still not high speed.

If you do not have Ethernet on the laptop, then there are PC Ethernet cards, or USB to Ethernet adapters. All high speed connections end up as Ethernet.
