Funny you should ask, I faked a smile about 2 minutes ago when my boss walked into my office. I really wanted to curse at him but I decided maybe I shouldn't! LOL

sometimes when it comes to pictures where you pose - like for a school photograph, a drivers license photo, etc. Who is ever ready to smile for a ID photo? The cameraperson usually gets you when you least expect it - hence a fake smile.

When a guy I used to date/hang out with ran up to me all excited in the mall about a week ago. I hadn't talked to this guy and the others in that group I used to hang out with in like 8 months because they were bad influences on me and I just got sick of their immaturity. I plastered a huge fake grin on my face, gave a couple of smart remarks, and walked off.

Like 5 hours ago. I wasn't going to but I was much too lazy to respond to the usual moronic "what's wrong?" so I figured I would be wasting less time by offering the usual obligatory and pointless grin. I do this all the time. I try being frank with people, but frankly, its just too much effort.

i do it most of the time,im miserable inside but its best not to show it, so out comes the fake smiles all round.
sometimes i am truely happy tho,my bf makes me smile alot.

ugh, name any time! I fake a smile tons of times, when I don't like something someone got me, when I don't think a joke is funny, when someone is happy and I don't want to bring them down, etc!!!

about 2 mins ago, and every day of my life. I'm a very serious person, and i just don't smile much. People are constantly telling me to smile. I'm not unhappy or depressed, i just don't smile much...(it causes wrinkles)

All the time.
I did it because I hate just not smiling then everyone
thinks there is something wrong and they don't get off my back.
Theres only ONE GUY that can make me smile a TRUE

when my then bf's family came over and his sister's kid did something they all thought was funny but i thought was stupid, and i had to fake a smile and pretend i thought it was cute too cos they were all staring at me and i didnt wanna look like a bit*h lol

Why you ask? My mum was doing some photo shoot thing and I had to take the same posisition 12 TIMES!
