That's what trolls do---offend people. If they weren't capable of yanking the chains pretty effectively, they'd lose interest. A lot of people on YA are a little bit internet "naive". This may be their first internet community and trolls are new to them. These are the easy victims.

I ain't offended by any of it. It IS however, UNBELIEVEABLY ANNOYING! Wouldn't you be annoyed if you asked a question, for example, some question about how your friend's father just died and what to do to comfort them, and some complete idiot answers you by saying, "Oh, you're so gay, why don't you just walk off a cliff?" and blah, blah, blah. Not exactly helpful.

Stirring things up is one thing, harassment is quite another.
The former is annoying, but essentially harmless. The latter is punishable by law.
Some people don't know where to draw the line, so it must be drawn for them.

Because, just like the female crackheads on cops always say, I didn't do nuthin wrong. I never do anything wrong. Feminists are perfect and thus beyond reproach you see. We're just so wonderful.
