Girl, that would be my guess. A girl's heartbeat is faster than a boy's, still early to tell, but I would guess a girl.

I was the exact opposite..... My first was a girl and stayed around 150 but this is a boy & his has been higher in the 160's and 170

There is ABSOLUTELY no way to determine the gender of a baby by the heartbeat. That is an old wives tale. Your best bet is to wait and see what an ultrasound says ( around at least 17 weeks). Good Luck!!

If you went by an old wives tale it would be a girl. But the heartbeat is faster in the beginning and then slowly starts to slow down as it becomes ready for the world. Congrats!!

WOW! What a good, strong heartbeat.
When my mother was pregnant with me, I had a fast heartbeat like that one. Now, there were no gender determination ultrasounds when she was pregnant, so they guessed that I was a boy based on my heartrate. Whoops!
I have heard, though, that fast heartbeats are indicators of boys.....

My daughters heartbeat has been between 140 and 150 my whole pregnancy. But I think every baby and every pregnancy is different. I would wait for the ultrasound.

Depending if the heartbeat is strong or weak. The old wives tale says if its strong its a boy, if weak its a girl lol

My sons heart rate was high..I remember them saying a higher heart rate = boy and they were right* :).....but who knows* Just be greatful and blessed with a healthy beautiful baby*~

according to wives tales the girls have higher heart rates, but really no way to tell
