i need to do well on them. my parents never get on me about studying but i sort of want them to sometimes.

It appears that this isn't about exams but about you feeling that your parents don't care.

You want to do well. That is quite clear from the question. You probably also know (inference) what you need to do in order to do well.

However, I sense that you feel remoteness on the part of your parents.

It is sometimes necessary to experience expectations from parents so that we can have clear goals.

I can only suggest that you get them to see this question so that they realise that they have a responsibility to make you aspire to do better.

The exams tomorrow will come and go. The day after tomorrow there will be no exam.

The rest of your life, however, depends on whether your parents can impart to you the concept that expectations foster goals.

Your parents need to see this question, in my opinion.

I think you want your parents want to take more notice of you. I would talk to your parents. Do the best you can to study.
