Robin was Batman's sidekick. Batman was in a sense Robin's mentor. Spiderman doesn't have a sidekick. He's in a totally different league....not even the same company. Batman is DC and Spiderman is Marvel.

Well, Spider-Man has in the past teamed-up with Black Cat, worked with Silver Sable, and had short-lived team-ups with just about every hero in the Marvel Universe.
