There's nothing WRONG with it and yes it IS our choice. Yet some feel because THEY feel it is wrong they should then push their beliefs on us to force us to do what they want. Fortunately our society does not fully allow that.

Thank you for your support.

*EDIT*

I totally overlooked the word "choice". No, nobody chooses to be gay, well there is a small population who has, but the majority of us were born great like that, but yes it is our RIGHT to be that way.

Let all humans be, live and let live, it is as simple as that.

What is wrong is that religion has been laying the "damnation" on ANYTHING that does not agree with whatever it is that each religious group wants people to do.

All the the emotional suffering that religion and the society that follows like sheep has caused on millions of people for MANY reasons, including homosexuality, makes one wonder where the "kind, charitable and tolerant" teachings fit in. Religious groups should be the ones to be ashamed of themselves for all the taboos causing so much anguish and misery directly or indirectly.

Rules that entail restraint from human natural responses are preferred to make people feel guilty: You cant fight nature, but it is the best means to chastise a person and get them to tag along in the hope that their "defect, handicap, insticts or sinful ways" will be forgiven in the fear of becoming a social reject and being condemned to eternal fire and brimstone. What a lot of hogwash!!

As long as nobody does any harm; to another person or him/herself, NO ONE SHOULD WORRY ABOUT NOR IMPOSE HOW ANOTHER PERSON SHOULD LIVE.

HOMOSEXUALS DONT GO AROUND FORCING OTHER PEOPLE TO BE LIKE THEM, NOW, DO THEY??

SO, LET THEM BE.

If you look for natural examples- animals, plants, you will find both situations... but homosexuality are few cases.

With humans things are different... we have an intelligence to research, to choose and to understand why we are here. This is the great difference from animals and plants lives.

There are something wrong:
a)If a person choose to be homosexual it is because he(or she) does not understand yet the really meaning of the life.
b) If he(or she) did not choose but is homosexual, there are something wrong in his(or her) hormonal balance.

There's nothing wrong with being homosexual. It is that person's choice

But it's not a choice, I've never known another way to be, I didn't choose this.

I am happy to be me, and proud to live a life without having to hide it. But there was no choice there.

Though I agree with your sentiment, that if it were a choice, it would be up to the individual to make, and should be respected.

that depends on your own convictions.people have the right to choose as they do in all things.you can drink or do drugs ,lie, steal, commit adultery, falsify documents, rape, kill or be a child molester a person could choose to do or not do any of these things.just because you have a choice doesnt mean you have the right to,everything is not right, acceptable ,or moral no matter how popular or accepted it may be.if you believe the bible you already know that GOD says homosexuality is an abomination to him! do whatever you choose but at least know the facts first! good luck.

It's not a choice. If it were a choice, I would choose to be straight. Trust me I'd rather go WITHOUT the harassment and embarrassment.

Very few people, if any, CHOOSE to be homosexual. So of course there is nothing wrong with it. To say otherwise would be like telling a woman she was wrong to be female. She genetically cannot help it. You can choose not to act on it, but you cannot choose not to BE gay.

They would never believe that - haven't you heard - they think it is genetic even though there is no definitive proof of genetic
cause for homosexuality or lesbianism.

They can live that way if they wish if they are willing to pay the price. Nobody will force them to change. We will warn them, without malice or anger, of the end result of their rebellion and
disobedience to God though. It starts with aids in this life that is a disease brought on by homosexual activity or given to someone who has sex with homosexuals who hide their aids from the person they have sex with. The tragic ending is far worse than the disease -

God will condemn them for this lifestyle - Not from vengeance but because they disobey His laws and reject His Son.

Homosexuality and lesbianism are sin plain and simple.

EDIT: DOUBLE STANDARD TIME AGAIN! IT IS NOT RIGHT FOR PEOPLE TO TELL HOMOSEXUALS THEY ARE WRONG, BUT IT IS OKAY FOR PEOPLE TO TELL THOSE WHO REJECT THE LIFESTYLE THAT THEY ARE WRONG ABOUT TELLING HOMOSEXUALS THAT THEY ARE WRONG. TO FOLLOW THIS RIDICULOUS THING THROUGH TO ITS CONCLUSION, WE WOULD HAVE TO BELIEVE THAT IT IS NEVER RIGHT TO TELL ANYONE THEY ARE WRONG. GET A GRIP ON REALITY. Some things are just plain wrong no matter what anyone chooses to believe about them. Homosexuality is one of them--God condemns the ACT, but will forgive the repentant homosexual or lesbian and cleanse them of this evil lifestyle.

Because the right wing Christian anti-gay people have proposed the idea that every gay person has made a choice to be gay, the gay rights community has been forced into the position that no one chooses to be gay and it is a born identity. The polarity of these positions has kept us from examining sexuality in an honest way.
