black dye?

i need to dye a skirt black but i dont know what to use, i cant go to the store too...

PERMANANT MARKER INK IN WATER AND SOAK

Rit sells black dye - but you may have to do it twice
as you can never get is as good as a manufacturer

and if you use the permanent ink marker trick -
use a 'throw away' container to dye it in -
DO NOT USE YOUR WASHING MACHINE
it will be in the next few loads!!!! ohhhhh noooooooo

Whats the skirt made of? Synthetics that are especially flashy dance around the realm of "Impossible" to dye. But even if its chocolate brown and 100% cotton... it really doesn't matter much if you can't go to a store. Is that a religious thing, or?
