You can "relactate" ...there are several websites and sources for information about how to do it.
But before it gets to that point...
If you nurse nurse nurse or pump pump pump every two to three hours after a few weeks your supply should be back in full force.
I also take a supplement called "More Milk Plus" that really really helps you can find it at most health food stores or at their website http://www.motherlove.com
I also take Fenugreek pills and Goats Rue...They all taste like poison...but they are all natural and they totally work!
Check out La Leche's website and kellymom,

***Oh jesus please dont' listen to half these people...if adoptive mothers can produce breastmilk for the children they adopt having never been pregnant in the first place...you can do it too!! So many people are going to give you stupid or wrong information...please check out those websites before listening to anyone telling you it's not possible...because it TOTALLY IS POSSIBLE TO RELACTATE

Keep nursing your baby. Nursing is the best way to increase breastmilk supply. The more milk your baby Also you can consult your doctor, he might give you some protein drink to increase your supply. Also, the first milk that comes is a yellow coloured thick colostrum. Just 1-2 drops of it is enough for the baby for the first 2 days. The actual white milk starts coming only after 1-2 days for any mother. So dont worry. Tension is the biggest reason your supply can dwindle. It is very important for a nursing mother to be happy.

Yes. KellyMom has some great resources on Relactation as does La Leche League. It's not an easy choice or a quick one, but it's quite a devoted one if you make it.
If you're worried about a drop in supply, you may also be interested in the suggestions at KellyMom.com, for how to prevent supply drop, and what to do if it does, including foods like oatmeal and herbs like fenugreek, as well as medications like reglan or domperidone that can increase milk supply.

Once it is gone it is extremely hard to get it back. You will have to pump every 2 hours 24hours for at least 4 month.
If you want it at a later point you can pump while you have some milk and keep the supply low, when you will need more you can increase the pumping, that way it will be easier to get it back than to just stop and hope that it will return.

you need to start putting your baby back on the breast and constantly try to feed from the breast and pump. Remember when you first started feeding from day one. You had to put the baby on the breast every two hrs and then give him or her formula. I think that you should start that again and pump as when he or she is sleep. It will eventually come back in. I've known females who dried up as well and it actually came back in on its own how it happend I have no Idea. But I think that you should continue to put the baby on the breast as offten as possible and I am sure you milk will come back maybe you should even try taking some prenatal vitms which should help with the nutrients of the milk.

I have gone dry and got it going again, and my daughter was in the hospital for surgery and kept it going.Pump, pump and pump. Still put your baby to the breast because that is more stimulating than the pump. Put a little formula or juice if the baby is old enough , right on your nipple to get the wee one interested. Slam as many fluids down as you can. Good luck as this seems to be important to you.
