Some lad`s question inspired me to ask....and well, i am in a kinda similar situation...
he wanted to know whether it is better to wait until u graduate from college and marry a woman or have a gf while ur studying.
This guy who likes me thinks the same, well, he told my friend he liked me but as he works a lot he wouldn`t have time for a gf and that he would marry me in 3 years....
honestly, i was shocked, i like him, but hey he already wants to marry me...
why do some guys think like this?
I think it is not bad at all, but i want to hear ur opinions...

i think thats crazy. he has no time to date and get to know you but would want to marry you as soon as he's out of school? thats really dumb in my opinion. i mean, you date people so that you get to know them. and thats a really lame excuse of being too busy with studies. i have 2 jobs AND go to school. i still have a boyfriend.

If this guy doesnt have time for you now, what makes you think he will in 3 years? True its best to graduate from college before getting married cause students dont need the extra stress. I wouldnt put too much weight into what this guy says now so hopefully you arent planning on waiting for this Prince Charming cause you jsut might miss a whole lot of available frogs. Think about this.

I was married before I started college, he was in school at the time too. School can be tough..if you know its meant to be there is no point in putting it off. For me, having my husband has been a help throughout my studies, not a hindence. Its always nice to have someone who cares to vent to, help you study or cook for you (or bring in take out) during finals.

It is just a statement to a friend. It doesn't mean anything. I doubt you'll just get married in 3 yrs. You may not even like each other in 3 yrs. It didn't ean anything.

I think it is wise of you to wait until you graduate to get married and are employed for a while. What's the rush to get married?

chances are your friend and the guy who likes you is full of crap. Mariage is serious business. If a guy wants you he will let you know. A guy will trade work for a good woman any day of the week.

the guy that think like that is obviously wanting to make sure he can provide a good stable releationship as well as take of his family. Be proud about that most young guys don't have a job. they want the women to take care of them like you are their mothers.

Talk about jumping the gun. I would say that if you haven't even gone out with a guy and he's already talking marriage, then he's not too swift.

I think its a smart decision, I think that dating during college is ok though, just make it official when you graduate

I think if you need to ask this type of question you should stay single until you are old enough to understand that this is at best silly !
