Sounds like you need to buy a new heater. A good rule of thumb for heaters is 5 watts per gallon. So if you have a 10 gallon tank, you'd need a 50-watt heater. If you can't buy a new heater, then incresing the temperature in the room will help. You can also leave the aquarium light on for a long time, but it might burn out.

what's your temp now? around 80? I reccomend elevating the warmth steadily, say, a million levels each hour or 2 till the appropriate temp is attain.. do no longer strengthen it immediatly or this may be nerve-racking on the fish. as quickly as you have obtained the appropriate temp (86), flow away it for 3-5 days so it could thoroughly kill the ich. better temperature finally leads to better metabolism, which reinforces the fish’s immune reaction yet additionally will improve oxygen call for. Oxygen is decrease in warmer water, so that's significant to improve floor agitation throughout the time of the treatment to improve oxygenation. In planted tanks with CO2 injection, the CO2 must be grew to become off and extra aeration must be supplied. heavily word your fish, gazing for signs and indications that they don't get adequate oxygen. If fish are gasping on the exterior, you would be able to desire to offer extra aeration. Aeration could nicely be better via decreasing the water point so the filter out return makes extra of a waterfall and splash, and/or use an airstone located on the fringe of the exterior of the water you additionally can do 25% water differences on a normal basis to help.

Sounds like you need a new heater. It should be able to warm it to the needed temperature for you. Be careful and do it slowly. Sudden temperature changes can harm your fish more. Also make sure to use a really good ick medication and follow the directions exactly.
