Its the Red Sox.
All these people keep saying the Indians, they are so stupid. The Indians arent even the best in their division. They are only in second place in the central, behind the Tigers.

Right now you have to say the Red Sox, best record, best rotation and an offense that has been red hot. Schilling, Beckett, and Dice-K are all looking great, Becket is leading the league with a 7-0 record, Dice-K is in the top 10 in a number of categories. Wakefield as a number 4 has been great and has a really low ERA. Add to that the Sox have the best bullpen going right now with Donnelly and Romero proving to be great pick up, Okajima has been superb and not allowed a run in 18 innings, and Papelbon is one of the best closer in the game. Then you add into that again with an offense that feature Ortiz and Ramirez, Ramirez is just starting to get hot as well, Mike Lowell has been hitting great, Julio Lugo keeps coming up with key hits, Youk has also been a great #2 batter, and they always seem to come up with a hit when they need one. At this point no dount the Red Sox are the best team in the AL.

The red sox have the best record, and have been able to win even with a few players under performing... for example, J.D. Drew has been in a slump for a while, and right now Mike Lowell is hitting stats wise as good as manny ramirez. Manny will step it up towards the end of the season like he usually does. I think the Red Sox are the best team. They have tremendous starting pitching.

Being a HUGE Indians fan. I have to go with the Tribe all the way. However I do realize that we have the young and raw things going for us, but the Red Sox have the depth and experience things going.......should make for a great League Championship
