I live in Alaska, and my DM is one of the original 13 gamers who later became the Wizards of the Coast. He refuses to play 3rd Ed., prefering a 1st and 2nd combo. Does anybody else play AD&D 2nd Ed.?

Hi. You can try to find other D&Ders in your area by using the "D&D Contact, Worldwide" Yahoo Group. Also, there is a website: www.meetup.com, which is a good forum to meet other gamers who might live nearby on. If you live anywhere near a hobby / gaming shop, they usually have a bulletin board for players seeking DMs, and vice versa.

Hope this helps!

um, TSR published AD&D 1st (1977) & 2nd ed (1989), WOTC purashed TSR (1997) then Published D&D 3rded (2000) then D&D 3.5 (2003)

OK, Why would a WOTC guy NOT play the new version his own company wrote ?

D&D 3.5 is a hundred times better of a game! IHO
