Can you figure these out and explain in DETAIL how you did them?

Write an equation of the line that is parallel to the given line and that passes through the given point
1.) x+y=3 ; (5,4)

a. y-3=(1/4)(x+5)
b. y-4=-(x+5)
c. y-2= (x-5)
d y-4=(1/5)x

2.) 3x+2y=1 ; (-2,6)
a. y=6=(1/4)x
b. y--2=(3/2)(x+6)
c. y-2=(1/4)(x+2)
d. y-6=-(3/2)(x+2)

y=-x+3 so the slope is -1
y=-x+n and as it passes through(5,4)
4=-5+n so n= 9 and the line is y=-x+9 (none of your choices)
2) y=-3/2x+n
6=3+n so n= 3and y=-3/2x+3
3) the slope is 1/4 ( negative inverse)
so y= 1/4x+n
6=-1/2+n so n= 13/2 and y = 1/4x+13/2
4)slope =-3/2
y=-3/2x+n
2=9+n so n=-7 and y = -3/2 x-7 (c)

slope = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) = (-4-5)/(0-a million) = -9/-a million = 9 the respond is C (seem on the slope of the equation!) to ensure %. one coordinate and positioned it to y = mx+c (I %. (a million,5)) 5 = (9)(a million) + C C = - 4 see the respond easily C desire it might help
