I get that feeling sometimes when I'm getting dehydrated. But, since your period was also a bit abnormal, I would go to the doc. Better safe than sorry. If you've gotten pregnant to the point where you were feeling fetal movement, you would be 15-20 weeks pregnany, and I imagine you'd have more symptoms than just this.

I'm not trying to be a smart alleck but maybe it's a backed up bowel movement. I don't think you could feel a fetal movement for at least a couple months of pregnancy

Def. would not be getting fetal movements near the ribs until the third trimester, so I doubt you are pregnant, maybe see a doc.

If you were pregnant, you wouldn't feel fetal moevement for MONTHS. Theat baby would be nowhere near your rib cage, currently.
You aren't pregnant but go see a doctor to make sure everything is A-OK.

So, I take it you haven't been pg before?
You don't have fetal movement in early pregnancy.
However, if your period was much lighter and shorter than maybe you are pg. When did you test? Maybe you should test again?

Could have been just gas, even if you were pregnant you wouldn't feell movement untill way into your second trimester. If you think you're pregnant see a doctor , a blood test will tell you for sure.

First off you don't feel the baby move till 16-22 weeks along, and if its a sharp stabbing pain that comes and goes best bet is that its a kidney infection.

Just don't rely on anyone's ideas. The best thing for you to do is to see a doctor. He will give you not his ideas, but his diagnoses.
