the easiest way is to prop your elbow on the countertop and get as close to the mirror as you can. then try to make a really thin line starting at the inner corner and work outwards (make sure the pencil tip is nicely sharpened). if you cant do that, use short dashed lines and then fill them in. when i first started wearing eyeliner, i got a liquid one and would have to put it on really thick, wait for it to dry, then wet a q-tip and "erase" the excess to make a really thin line.
now, i just line the inside of the bottom lid, then squeeze my eyes shut tightly and it will transfer it to the inner top. clean up the corners, some mascara and *BAM* all done! i find that not lining the top lid makes my eyes seem bigger

How I did it, was I started out slow with pencil or twisting eyeliners... so I could get used to making the curves fit to my eyes. Then I found an article on applying liquid eye liner, and tried that out.
The article said to first clean the brush with a tissue, but still leave some on there. Then you apply a VERY thin line as close to the lashes as you can get WITHOUT touching them, cause then tey clump up.. Next, it said to keep cautiously adding onto that first line, going from inner lid to outer lid.
And there you have it! Again, you may want to start with a pencil liner, and work onto liquid later..

Hey girl, It all depends on the shape of you eye. But here is some tips on how to make pretty eyes:) The Cat eyes is the most popular way, and suite most eye shapes. 1. DRAW A LINE CLOSE TO THE LASHES. 2. SOFTEN WITH AN EAR-BUD. 3. DIST DARK SHADOW OVER THE LINE. "However this is not recommended if you've got small eyes."
You can also try the Fine Swish style 1. FOLLOW THE SHAPE OF THE UPPER LASH-LINE 2. EXTEND HORIZONTALLY AT THE END TO ELONGATE THE EYE. "Avoid if you have heavy eyelids. A last word is Just practice, practice, practice. You'll get the hang of it!!!

For best result, use a light eyeshadow, I use Loreal Mushroom, then, You need to start in the inner corner and work it out smoothly. Use it thinly, have it as a really sharp point, then smudge it with your finger to create a smokey look, that really pops your eyes. Doesn't matter what kind of eyeliner you buy, you need to know how to apply it, thats what counts!

Apply eyeliner in very short strokes rather than one straight line. Takes a little practice but you'll get there. Make sure to use hypo-allergenic eyeliner. Any one will do. (I use Max Factor which is great)

ahah!
it's quite easy when you get used to it.
i advise you start with a pencil eyeliner.
hold down your bottom eyelid and apply to the bit that goes against the eyeball thats above the eyelashes.
and then apply it below that.
it helps if you streth out the skin around where your applying as it makes it a lot easier to make a straight line.
it youre wanting to apply to the top aswell basically just shut your eye slightly and stretch the skin, drawing a smooth line following the shape of the eye.

Make three dots. One in the inner corner of your eyelid, one in the middle and one at the outer corner, then you just connect the dots. If the line is too thick or not exactly straight, you can clean up the mistakes with a Q-tip. Practice is really what's going to make you good at it.

Use a pencil, make sure it is sharp, only line the top eyelid with the liner. You will be good as long as you do not use a thick black liner on the top and bottom of the eyelid, and oh ya do not put it on the inside of your bottom eyelid, that is really yucky looking. Just don't over due it and you should be ok.

Use a pencil - much easier and less messy.
On your lower lashes, make sure your pencil is well sharpened and line ABOVE your lash line, not underneath it, otherwise your eyes can look saggy.
Practice makes perfect - when you've got some time at home keep lining, removing it and redoing it until you're more comfortable with what you're doing:)
