I like the name Marc Anthony even before the celebrity was known, so it's not really because of him, I'm not his fan.

I like the names but the association with the singer would make me pause..... but that would be true of any celeb. I'd consider Anthony Marc, but if you've always like the name in that order, go with it. I tend to not like apostrophy names for either sex- I think it's somewhat limiting in a professional sense, or even in school, since perceptions have a strong influence on people's decisions, even before they meet a person. It may be unfair, but it's a fact of life that some names have negative associations, and trendy, unique, or even stereotypical (ie inner city) thinking might work against these names.

I once dated a guy whose name was Marc Anthony. He only went by Marc, of course. I like it, it's a nice combination.

Marc Anthony is a nice name.
If you didn't want people to think of the singer or Anthony and Cleopatra then spell it Mark Anthony
