Well obviously no alchohol if you are pregnant, but if you mean shrimp cocktail, that's not nearly as bad. If you eat like 2-3 peices you baby will be ok, but anymore, is a definate no no!!!

You can eat shrimp, You can also drink a little wine if you like, A little. Its good for your stomach. You could eat anything but just small proportions if you think is risky. Other than that dont worry and go to the doctors and get checked up regularly. Youlle be fine.

There are a lot of magnesium in shrimp but I think a little in moderation is fine. The cocktail SAUCE is fine.

Of course you can have a shrimp coctail but should limit your shell fish intake when you are pregnant. No more than twice a month. Nutrition should have been something your dr. told you about on your first OB visit. If he/she did not, then bring it up at your next appt. and have them give you a list of things you should not eat or drink when you are pregnant.

I've heard a lot of conflicting info about this. So, I just stayed away from it while I was pregnant. Better safe than sorry.

Fresh, raw seafood is potentially risky because it can contain parasites such as tapeworm, which, if they grow large enough, could rob your body of nutrients needed for your growing baby

Yes, it is fine as long as it's fresh and clean and you don't eat a lot of it at once or eat it often. Everything in moderation!

Seafood is not generally good for your baby. Every once in a while is okay. Just don't go overboard with it.
