The person above me who posted the petakillsanimals site is uneducated about animal shelters.
90% of animal shelters put the animals to sleep who are given them. The ASPCA and Humane Socety included, alot of No Kill Shelters also put the animals to sleep, so in regards to that PETA is doing the same thing.
I have found animals myself and took them both to Humane Society and ASPCA, I was told the cats were not adoptable and to "throw them in the street" or "put them down"
PETA has saved the lives of millions of animals and exposed the world to cruelty that was not known before.

I've heard that many branches of Petco are cruel to the animals in their care, and ignorant about how to take care of some of them, especially birds.
I go to a lot of pet bird forums and no one on them will have anything to do with Petco.
You could look into that.
