My granddad wants to use the computer...he told me, "show me something i can do".

right now he just plays card/arcade games...what should i show him that he can eventually do on his own?

I can't really teach him the stuff i do {hw, download illegal music, facebook, look at porn}...HELP!

Games is a good place to start. Keep it very simple. Solitaire, Yahoo games, etc. Eventually questions will come up about messenging, email, and how to do this or that. You want to encourage, not discourage. Don't talk over his head, and try to explain things at a basic level, but also not to insult his intelligence!.

What's he interested in. If he likes to fish or play golf, etc, show him how to surf to these kinds of sites. Show him how to do a search in Google. Show the man how to use an instant messenger. Come on, you know this stuff, so show him and maybe he'll get his own machine and get off of yours.

Show him google, tell him he can look up whatever his hobby/likes are. He won't bother you for days. LOL:)
