Jay Cutler will be a fantastic QB. This year will be pretty good for him, with the addition of a proven RB, in Travis Henry, he should only grow in Shanahan's offense. He can get the ball downfield, accurately, as well as move out of the pocket to highlight those bootlegs that Shanahan likes to run. With a big target receiver like Walker, and a possession receiver like Stokley, and his TE's, he has many targets that give him someone to throw to. The biggest issue is growing into a big time QB in Denver. The Elway shadow looms large. If he can forget about that and play his style of QB, he should be fantastic for many years to come.

Cutler has a good O line in front of him and a coach who believes in maintaining it, so he should never have to worry too much about a lot of sacks. Javon Walker, Brandon Marshall, and Tony Scheffler are all great, young talent who will be making it next to impossible for him not to have huge passing numbers through the years. Not to mention that the running game in Denver will always take pressure off the QB.
I would say that Cutler has the ability to be just as good, if not better, than John Elway. His skills are just as good, and he has better talent around him.

I'm a Chiefs fan, so this is difficult. He is going to be awesome. He can throw like 70 yards. There hasn't been a guy who can throw like that since Culpepper had Moss. Plus he's accurate (especially for a kid). He's big and illusive, so that's always a plus. And last but not least he's fast. I'm gonna say he will be better than Rivers, V. Young, E. Manning and Rothlesburger. I think Leinart might be as good as Cutler, but he'll never have as good of a team in Arizona.

I think that Jay Cutler will be a pretty good quarterback considering the fact that he has some talent around him. Add that to the fact that he'll have a full season to start and play and his numbers should be better then Jake Plummer's numbers.

he'll be good this year, he played very well last year considering he was thrust into the middle of a playoff push, as a rookie. he's a smart guy, tough, and got a good arm on him. denver has a good line, just like every year, and some playmakers for him to get the ball to. he's a definite improvement over plummer. i think he's alot like eli manning, but maybe a little cooler under pressure so doesn't make as many mistakes. but we haven't seen alot of him in the pros yet. but i did see alot of his vandy games, and he was great despite minimal talent surrounding him.

Cutler has something many QB's lack: brains. What he lacks in physical talent, he makes up in wise decisions.

Well, he's already starting to show that he's got the arm and accuracy and toughness that they wanted. He will no doubt get better and he will be the Broncos starter for years to come.
