verlander, he tore up the red sox last night, he threw 102 mph! also, he has an excellent breaking ball and i think a curveball

I admit, Verlander had a great year last year, and may this year. But if you look at Zambrano's stats over the last few years, you can see that he is the better pitcher. If he was on a team that won more games, he would have been a top Cy Young candidate every year. Z's just off to a slow start this year... He's coming around though.

Carlos Zambrano now but who knows what the future holds for Verlander

this year Verlander has been better however last year Zambrano had a lower ERA in more innings, lower WHIP and lower batting average against (.208 for Z and .266 for verlander). Zambrano had more k's by a huge margain

Zambrano only had 1 fewer wins than verlander on a team that only won 66 games.

Zambranos best ERA was in 2004 at 2.75 and best career whip was in 2005 at 1.15

Zambrano is better in my opinon

Until Verlander actually finishes his second year, maybe you should side with Zambrano.

Unless your question was "who is better so far this year"

Verlander right now but Z always have slow starts so he might be better later on.
