I just got through watching "The Fountain". It was a really weird movie that was hard to understand, but there was this one quote that really made me think. What do you think?

"Death is like any disease, and I'll find a cure."

Now, I know "death" is just a part of life, but I think it was an interesting comment.

It was a fantasy type movie, I know it's natural to die and it's not a disease.

I think he's motivated but he'll never find a cure for death. Death isn't a disease it's inevitable.

i agree but i don't think there is a cure because that would mess up everything could you imagine what this world would be like if people didn't die everyday?

i'm not sure i get it.....

i think it one of those comments that is supposed to sound smart but really doesn't make sense
