Evolutionists say that if evolution isn't true, then what is the alternative? Did animals just appear? They ask that if you accept the fossil evidence, it shows that not all animals appeared at the same time. Dogs aren't as old as dinosaurs, for example. If evolution isn't true, then that means that dogs just kind of appeared.

Your stories in your science books that you expect me to read don't prove anything. You can't disprove that animals didn't just appear. According to the mind of a gullible evolutionist, that automatically means that it probably isn't true.

There is evidence for creationism. Just go to a creationist website and they prove that evolution is not true.

I can see the stupid evolutionists just crying at the undeniable truth in what you say, Robert M. Keep up the brilliant work, Robert, your genius is an inspiration to me. Have you considered contacting Richard Dawkins to ask if he will debate you publically on the issues? I'll bet he'd decline in fear of humiliation at having his shabby theories crushed by your powerful intellect.

I see that I have a thumb down for my answer, a sure sign of an ignorant evolutionist who cannot accept the truth. Ha ha! How foolish of them!

I can't argue the concept of creationism vs. evolution with you. That would undermine my own intelligence. You're argument for creationism is unfounded. I will, however argue with those who even think you make a valid point with your question.

Evolution, if you could fathom the concept explains in great detail how speciation and diversity (as opposed to "dogs just kind of appear[ing]") can occur. There is much MUCH more substantial evidence to argue evolution over creationism. You say evolutionists are ignorant, but you have not even begun to consider the foundations of the theory. Doesn't that make you ignorant?

Please. If you do try to dispel the foundations of evolution, then have some evidence that you can disprove instead of ranting and making the general reader dumber for having read your garbage.

I think it is you who is ignorant. Evolution has its flaws because it's complicated. Reading an elementary science book about evolution is not a good source. The study of evolution is so complicated that the simple explanation most people are given will have to suffice. And furthermore, complete understanding of evolution is not necessary for one to live their lives.

If you want to believe that animals just appeared, in the scientific community you need something called evidence. Faith holds less credibility here. Also, it's not like creationism and evolution can't coexist, they are not mutually exclusive. Who's to say evolution wasn't God's plan, or that God did not act through evolution?

Evolution attempts to explain the origin of life using evidence, proof, and a little creative thinking. I'm sure the theory is wrong on many levels, but a great portion of it is correct. What is the benefit of confusing everyone to believe that God just created everything, end of story. All I see is an attempt by religion to assert itself as the absolute authority, and frankly, I thought those ideals died with the Dark Ages.

Since you didn't ask a legitimate question I'll answer one that you need to realize. Of course going to a creationist website will "disprove" evolution, the same way that going to an evolutionist website will "disprove" creationism. The truth is that they are both theories - neither can be proven or disproven, we simply accept them in our current scientific paradigm until something comes along that can more accurately explain the world around us. Obviously dogs aren't as old as dinosaurs, but the rise of mammals occurred after dinosaurs became extinct. Just a question of my own - are you a 6th or 7th grade student who's parents are objecting to you learning about evolution in science class? I doubt that you are a fully rational adult.

Huh? Why is it so difficult for Creationist to accept the fact that God can create anything any way He damn well pleases?

It would seem to me that an entity like God would start the whole thing rolling with a Big Bang - don't you?

If He felt like starting the Human race from an amoeba, He can. If he felt like making a dog out of a creature that swims, well who's to say otherwise? There is nothing you can say that DISPROVES this, and if you say "Read Genesis", then you must believe in faeries and leprechauns too.

God gave us a mind to think and explore and to wonder. Why don't you start and quit making Christians out to be simple-minded and a**backwards.

And, go ahead the rest of you Creationists - and give me your thumbs down. You know you want to.

Ultimately there is no way to disprove religious beliefs, and I will not attempt to do so. If your inclined to believe that evolution is for the gullible then.. well that's your decision.

To answer your question, most of those who have done research and taken time to consider what they have learned accept micro evolution - that small changes can happen over time to improve a species or that small selectional changes can be made in a species. It's pretty well accepted science.

What you are talking about being ignorant is most likely the prospect of macro evolution - one animal becoming something completely different throughout time.

To be honest with you, I do not really believe that - say - Christianity necessarily conflicts with 'evolution' as most people see it. 'God created man' does not necessarily mean that evolution was -not- involved in that 'creation' process. God doesn't really have to explain every detail of how he does things.

But that's just one way to see it.

Another is that evolution is generally pretty well accepted science. In that it fits in with most models, and seems to logically make sense.

No need to attack people who believe differently than you.

In fact, if you took time to read these books that "we" "expect me to read" then you might better understand someone else's viewpoint.

Have a good day.

You don't go to a creationists website to get your "proof" of creationism. Just like you don't go to an evolutionists website for proof of evolution. Do this little exercise, go to any or all public university websites. You will find 100% of them have the supporting evidence for evolution as the only scientific explanation. It will also provide you with pages of evidence, experimentation's, and observation for evolution. You will also notice none of them have anything on creationism.

The irony is, you are probably the one who is ignorant on the science of the subject. That is apparent in your statements regarding evolution and the beliefs of evolutionists.

Calling people ignorant puts everyone on the defensive, please ask your question in a more civil manner.

Evolution IS JUST a theory, that is actually not that well proven, not all scientists "believe" in it. What is believable is that small changes can occur in species over time. However, a new species has not been shown to originate from another species. Usually, when a mutation occurs, it makes the organism weaker (unlike Xmen), it does not make it different in a way that makes it become a different species. SO, evolution can occur in the sense that genes within a species become more abundant in the population because they endow the individual with some characteristic that makes them more adaptible or stronger than others of the same species and because of this the gene is passed on through generations.

Creationism requires the belief in a creator, which does not contradict the evolution I describe above. The chances of so many things occuring that led to us and the universe being here is probably on the order of a zillion to one. SO, what are the chances there is a divine creator?

Animals didn't just appear though. They evolved over time form simple single cellular organisms. How would you explain codon placement? Think about the flu. The reason you have to get new vaccinations for it is because its genome slightly changed because of point mutations and natural selection. Creationists don't even try to understand evolution they just spout "I'm not an ape" which evolution doesn't even say we came from apes. I believe in evolution and I am a christian. Our time scale hadn't been invented yet so Gods 7 days might really be 6 billion years. Your never going to change someones oppinion and noone really cares what yours is, but if your going to make fun of something get the facts straight. By the way they proved that endosymbiosis is true so I don't know what to tell you.

God did not instruction manual evolution - you're precise - because of the fact there is no such difficulty as God - evolution happens without being guided by applying a deity. those Xtians who settle for evolution are hypocrites - in case you think God then introduction befell - in case you do not evolution befell - there is no center floor. in ingredient to actuality there is no God. because of the fact if God exists, then his author could additionally exist and on and on advert infinitum - it is obviously absurd. If God continuously existed then so ought to the universe and the thought of "1st reason" isn't mandatory. there is no info of God and a lot for the super bang and evolution. So the question is very moot - the two Xtians who settle for evolution and deny evolution are incorrect - because of the fact there is no deity.
