I liked Chinese Skipping, which was played with a thin piece of elastic and you took it in turns to do different steps without touching the elastic, which was stretched between two of your pals.

my favourite playground games were, rounders, hopscotch, french skipping, wall's ice cream (with two balls against a wall): plainsy, over, upsy, dropsy, leggy, lefty, splits, back, (remember it)! hula hoop, pogo stick, ally ally o, farmers in his den.

I loved playing Chinese skipping and cats cradle ( a piece of string tied and then you make puzzles between your hands with the string . dam hard to explain but if you played it you know what I meant lol ) . We also used to play up and overs with two or three balls against the wall . Taught my daughter these games and she has started a craze at her school now . Loved being a child in the 70,s and 80,s.
I loved Hot Chocolate and Red Rover as well .

We used to call skipping with elastic French skipping, used to do that a lot. Cats cradle, hop scotch. Runouts, British Bulldog, forty forty. Stuck in the mud. I showed my kids and they played a lot of the above for hours.

i will't remember what we stated because it and does not have a clue the thank you to do it now, yet we used to have like a in many cases going on elastic band that 2 human beings would positioned around our ankles dealing with one yet another, and then with specific foot strikes control the band around our feet in unison and make humorous varieties. i realize it sounds wierd even though it became into kinda relaxing :)
