I am Andrew from Ohio and I am just graduting from High School and I want to become a movie extra in my State of Ohio do you guys know any good movie places that are good for hiring me like I want some compnany to be in it and I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions please send them my way...

A good bet would be to look on myspace at the filmmaker pages. You can find someone in your area, and smalltime is a good way to start. Be a big fish in a small pond so to speak. I have a couple of friends that are directors and production managers, and they post bulletins and blogs when they need extras. I got involved through myspace. If you want to look into something more bigtime, you could check out studio webpages like Warner Bros.or Virtual Studios or something to find out where a movie in production is filming currently and to whom you should speak about just being an extra. Lots of times it's just in the local paper as well. Good luck

I agree with Jeff, I've seen extra casting calls on craigslist.
