I have called the police several times and have also talked to the owner of the rental property. How can you get them to stop? All day long, thump, thump, thump. Can't get sleep and it is like I have no control. Please Help

sue your landlord and sue the renters.
you have the police reports? use that as evidence
you have written formal complaint to your landlord? use that as evidence

Suing will take entirely too long. You are just going to have to keep complaining, and threaten to sue, that may do the trick. Better yet threaten your landlord that if it continues, you will be forced to move because they are not supplying an adequate rental.
