I think it was a little rushed, but that is how the Gilmore Girls felt about Rory leaving so it fit I guess. I think the final scene was the best way to end the show. The two girls together at Luke's and giving him a hard time. That was priceless. Over all I give it 4 stars out of 5

I have been watching Gilmore girls for the past two years. It is one of my two favorite shows (grey's is the other!). The ending did actually make me kind of upset, but under the circumstances, they did a good job. I think the whole Luke-Lorelai thing should have happened a few episodes sooner. I'm glad Rory didn't marry Logan, and that she's going to be alone for a while. I just feel like towards the very end of the show, they crammed all the best things in, and it wasn't as enjoyable because it was crammed in. i loved how they put the first season pilot ending scene like the very end of the show ever...they should have played "my little corner of the world" though! comments please.

I love Gilmore Girls, and am very disappointed that it will not return next season. The last show was very good indeed, and I was happy to see Lorelei and Luke finally back together. Perhaps because of the way the show ended, there will be something to revisit in the future.

I got very teary eyed during the finale, especially when Rory made that little speech to Lorelai. I think, for a series finale, it was a bit lacking. But, you must keep in mind that when they filmed it, it wasn't a series finale. No one knew if there would be another season, so they couldn't really do a big blow out episode that maybe told us what happened in the future, etc. Considering what the show was about, Rory and Lorelai, it was an appropriate ending with great hope for the future. I would have loved for them to fast forward a few years and we could see Luke and Lorelai married with kids and Rory as a successful reporter, but I guess we have to be happy with what we got.

I loved it especially because all the townspeople were in it and it played a huge tribute to what the show was : a story about a mother and daughter in living in this small and tight-knit community with wonderful and lively characters. The ending simply was another beginning - Rory going out and finding out who she is, doing what she loves and Lorelai being with Luke, which we knew that's the way it was gonna end. I have been a fan for the last 7 years and I am happy with the way it ended.

I was sad that the show ended, but they finished it really well. I liked that Lorelei and Luke got back together but it was so sd that Rory was going to leave. Maybe one day they could make a movie out of it like they're doing with Sex and the City.

i think it could have been better, love the show, but the last season seemed so rushed, they put off the luke and lorelai reuniting way too long, and it seems like there still more of a story there, there should be another season...

i loved it the second half of it.
the first half kind of felt a little boring and slow.
i liked rory's little speech and that luke made the party for rory and lorelai. and lorelai and him are together in the end; they are so cute together. it was a good ending to it all.
