A question like that is a good indication she is at least thinking about it,or trying to get your attention. she is unhappy with the way things are. you need to change some things, keep in mind this one thing. when a woman cheats its because she has given up and moved on and you are not likely to change things after that point. BUT most likely she wants your attention, stop being a couch spud.

pay attention pretend like u r gonna come clean about cheating and make it look like it is no big deal and that we all make mistakes and that u feel comfortable with telling and hearing her story if there is one but by the time u get it out she will have already either be mad or dying to forgive u. and that is ur answer to weather or not she did or did not cheat i hope she hasent as a married man i know the diff of a strained relationship good luck

Wow. Can't really answer that without knowing the context the question was given. She could just be genuinely curious about your answer to a completely hypothetical question. On the other hand, she could be testing the waters to see if she should tell you about an affair, or not.
If it were me, I'd be concerned.

She probably did cheat with someone. If a person didn't cheat, why would they want to know something like that.

Yes, you can assume, by the question and her evasiveness, that she has cheated. I would just tell her that we will talk about it. Don't say you would do anything to her, it will only make her not be honest.

It is very suspicious. Tell her you don't know what you would do and you hope never to find out. That said, honesty is the base of any lasting relationship. You have to talk to her and find out the truth one way or another.

I think she is just testing your love...Tell her it depends on the circumstances and ask if she loves you...If she did cheat and is sorry ..then forgive her ...everyone makes mistakes...you could also tell her how much you love her and how much it would hurt you if she did....just get the facts and go from there...it depends on how strong yr marriage is as to what u might want to do...DON"T TRY TO GET EVEN !!!It can only make matters worse
